Far From The Madding Crowd

1977 - One of a series of films based on classic works of literature that I haven't read and so had to guess the contents. Others include Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. This is of course based on the famous novel by Thomas Hardy. It was filmed in various locations around Bangor in 1977 and stars Meredydd Davies, Maeyc Hewitt, Wil Jones, Stephen Davies, Celyn Davies and Alan Holmes as six cavemen struggling to survive in an adverse Neolithic environment.

For freedom we strive

1977/78 - A hard hitting depiction of an action by the Red Army Faction that goes tragically wrong. The group plot to bomb the home of a bourgeois politician, sending their female member to carry out the job. Unfortunately she underestimated the length of the bomb's fuse, resulting in it detonating prematurely. Starring Peter Fox as the initial victim, Annie Stubbs, Maeyc Hewitt, Gary Stubbs and Stephen Davies as the RAF group and Steve McGuinness as a passer-by. It was filmed in either 1977 or 1978 - exact details are lost in the mists of time.

Jane Eyre

classic 1977 adaptation of Bronté's famous tale, starring Wil Jones, Maeyc Hewitt, Ken Thompson and Emyr Morris Jones

Enfance Du Lard

1995/1996 (Brussels) Originally a collaborative production of Kunsthaus Kollektiv, who comprised  Maeyc Hewitt, Sue Hewitt, Zoë Skoulding, Alan Holmes and Meirion Davies. Collective script writing. all post production/editing and dialogue by Maeyc Hewitt.
It is basically about the dialogue between a writer and the character that she had created and how the character was unhappy with how he was written.
